We are proud to introduce a line of natural insect insect sprays for organic gardeners and healthy living enthusiasts. Our insect sprays are made with the finest, yet simplest ingredients: eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, and canola oil. No gloves are required, nor masks, or pet removal for our natural "Botanical" products …. an organic gardener’s dream-come-true!

We use ingredients that are healthy for humans, yet distasteful or injurious to many insects. (except our wonderful ladybugs!). You can use our products with total confidence in your own safety, and that of those around you.

Why Koala Bear?

Why did we choose the name Koala Bear? We use eucalyptus oil and tea tree oil imported from Australia, and the Koala Bears’ favorite food in Australia are eucalyptus leaves.

Who are we?

We are lifetime organic gardeners, and were frustrated with the selection of insect sprays available on the market. How safe can they be if gloves and masks are recommended? We were frankly uncomfortable using the available sprays. So we experimented with some age old home gardening spray recipes, developed our own formulas, and tested the sprays on at our farm. We were pleased with the results, and thrilled to finally be using products with pleasant, benign qualities. Our sprays are vegetable oil and essential oil based, and are safe for human use, and completely biodegradable. We hope you will like our products too!

How our Botanical products work

Canola oil is a light vegetable oil, healthy for humans, but will cause injury to insects and their eggs.

Tea Tree oil has been used in Australia by the Aborigines as far as recorded history, as tea, and as an antiseptic for wounds. It is known to have very good anti fungal qualities, and to be effective against powdery mildew.

Eucalyptus oil has also been used by the Aborigines for all of recorded time, for a multitude of medicinal uses, as well as flavoring, and in the U.S. is used in cough medicines, teas, shampoos and lotions. It is known to have repellant action against insects.

Our product line includes:

Koala Kiss™ Plant Protection - a gentle spray featuring eucalyptus and tea tree oils. Insects will not like the taste, and will go elsewhere to feed, and lay their eggs. Tea Tree oil is also known to ward off (powdery)mildew. For your vegetable garden, herbs, fruit trees, ornamentals and house plants.

Koala Kick™ Garden Spray - a garden spray that is Simple, Safe, and Gentle. The natural oils will injure your insects (except for our hard shelled ladybugs) and be distasteful to them as well. Contains canola oil, eucalyptus oil, and tea tree oil.

Our products are made from ingredients that are human friendly: normally used for edible or therapeutic purposes. The vegetable oils are food grade. The eucalyptus oil and tea tree oil are therapeutic grade. Our sprays are not meant for human consumption or human medicine.
